KSBTP no longer recognizes the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) model law engineer (MLE) designation. That is because the MLE is inconsistent with Kansas law. KSBTP requires applicants for reciprocity to complete the long-form application if they wish to become licensed as professional engineers by reciprocity in Kansas.
