Board of Technical Professions

• The Board does not accept electronic signatures or scanned copies of applications. 
• All submissions must have a wet signature to be processed by the Board. 
• Handwritten or incomplete forms will not be accepted. 
• Pending applications and any supporting documents will be kept on file for one calendar year. 

Fundamentals of Geology Exam
            Requirements: 
                  - Completed Application Form 
                  - Transcripts (see detailed instructions on the first page of the application)

Professional Geologist by Exam 
            Requirements: 
                  - Completed Application Form 
                  - Non-refundable Application Fee of $60.00
                  - Transcripts (see detailed instructions on the first page of the application)
                  - Experience Record (see detailed instructions on the first page of the application)
                  - Professional References (see detailed instructions on the first page of the application)

Do not complete the online application if you have previously applied for approval to take an exam, you currently have a pending application or you have a license or intern certificate with KSBTP.  

Professional Geologist by Reciprocity 
            Requirements: 
                  - Completed Application Form 
                  - Non-refundable Application Fee of $250.00
                  - Transcripts (see detailed instructions on the first page of the application)
                  - Professional References (see detailed instructions on the first page of the application)
                  - Verification of Exams & Licensure (see detailed instructions on the first page of the application)
