  • ARCHS & GEOS RENEWALS!

    Renewals for Architects and Professional Geologists for last names beginning with A-L are due by June 30, 2016.  The ONLINE RENEWAL process may be found at the RENEWALS tab listed above in the navigation bar. Renewals open May 2, 2016. 

  • ATTENTION PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS!

    Renewals for Professional Engineers for last names beginning with A-L were due by April 30, 2016.  Your license is now EXPIRED. Renew by June 29, 2016 or your license will CANCEL.
  • GEOLOGY EXAM RESULTS

    The Fundamentals of Geology and Practice of Geology exam result letters were mailed.  Do not call the Board office for your results.  No information regarding exam results for this exam, or any other exam, will be give over the telephone or email.  If you have not received your FG or PG exam result letter by May 20, 2016, you may call the Board office for instructions.

  • PROFESSIONAL SURVEYOR RENEWALS!

    Renewals for Professional Surveyors for last names beginning with A-L are due by March 31, 2016.  The ONLINE RENEWAL process may be found at the RENEWALS tab listed above in the navigation bar. Renewals open February 1, 2016. 

  • NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATIONS

    A public hearing will be conducted on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 510 of the Landon State Office Building, 900 SW Jackson, Topeka, Kansas to consider the adoption of proposed changes to existing rules and regulations of the Board of Technical Professions.

    This 60-day notice of public hearing constitutes a public comment period for the purpose of receiving written public comments on the proposed regulations.  All interested parties may submit written comments prior to the hearing to the Board of Technical Professions, Suite 507, Landon State Office Building, 900 SW Jackson, Topeka, Kansas 66612, or by email to shelby.lopez@ksbtp.ks.gov.  All interested parties will be given a reasonable opportunity to present their views on the adoption of the proposed regulations orally during the hearing.  In order to give all parties an opportunity to present their views, it may be necessary to request each participant to limit any oral presentation to five minutes.

    Any individual with a disability may request accommodation in order to participate in the public hearing and may request the proposed regulations and economic impact statement in an accessible format.  Requests for accommodation should be made at least five working days in advance of the hearing by contacting Shelby Lopez at 785-296-3055 or by email at shelby.lopez@ksbtp.ks.gov.          

    Copies of the proposed regulations and the economic impact statement for the proposed regulations may be obtained by contacting the board office, by email request to shelby.lopez@ksbtp.ks.gov.


               
     

  • NEW LICENSE SEARCH APP

    Need to search for a licensed professional?  Download a new, free app for iPhone and Android users.  Visit your app store and download "MyLicense Verification".  

    "MyLicense Verification" allows users to search and view information about licensed professionals in multiple states.  Information includes license type and number, issue and expiration date, status, and other features.

Upcoming Deadlines & Meetings

The deadline for a completed application for the October 2016 NCEES PE/PS exam is June 15, 2016.  Applications are now being accepted for those who meet the experience requirement.

The next KSBTP Board meeting is July 15, 2016 in Topeka, Kansas.
